The purpose of this integration to provide a gateway into GovReports for all of your clients in AccountKit. This will allow you to easily navigate to your ATO data for each client directly from the people list and detailed client pages.

Get Connected
Have a user with practice administrator permissions head to your Practice Settings
- Go to Your name > Practice Settings > Integrations tab
- Hover over the GovReports row and select the 3 dot menu and press "Connect to..."
- Follow the prompts on the login window pop-up to authorise AccountKit's access.
(NOTE - if you do not have a new window pop-up when selecting 'connect', please ensure you have your pop-up blocker disabled for this page.)
- AccountKit will now connect to GovReports and link to your clients in AccountKit where it can find a match.
- During the matching process, the actions carried out are as follows
- Look for match via ABN.
- Look for match via TFN.
- Where a match is found, AccountKit will link the GovReports connection to that specific client. You can review the clients that have been matched to GovReports on the 'People' page under 'Clients'. We will cover this further, later in this help article.
- Upon completing the connection process, you will receive a notification in AccountKit under the bell icon at the top of your screen, showing that a sync with GovReports is processing. A 'Complete' notification will also be received upon completion.
How do you use it?
After completing the syncing process, inevitably there will be some exceptions to deal with. This is where we can head to our 'People' page in AccountKit and can review those clients that either did not connect or that may need to be reviewed.
Reviewing your connections to GovReports (including unmatching)
- First, head to the People icon at the top left of screen to browse to your list of clients.
- From the clients screen you should now be able to see a GovReports icon for all of your clients (either coloured or greyed out).
- The coloured icon shows that the client is matched with GovReports and you will now be able to click on the icon to navigate to the GovReports page for that client or unmatch the client as needed.
- Where the icon is greyed out, a connection for that client and GovReports has not been established. You can click on the grey icon and proceed to match the client manually as needed
- By selecting 'Show Unmatched', this will allow you to select from your clients in AccountKit that are not yet matched and link them to GovReports as needed.

Now that all of your connections are established, you can navigate directly to GovReports to your hearts content. Simply select the GovReports logo either from the client list screen or from within an entity details screen and navigate as needed to review their reporting.
