Link FYI documents to AccountKit tools, browse files by client group and send completed reports, maps and schedules back to FYI.
What the integration does
Open the document behind the number. Link a contract, invoice or loan agreement in FYI to the relevant AccountKit tool. The source is there when someone needs to check the work.
Find files in the client’s context. Browse FYI documents by client group in AccountKit, or open the applicable client directly in FYI.
File the finished work back in FYI. Export AccountKit reports, client maps and schedules to FYI, with filing details and optional AutoFile defaults.
From a finance contract to a filed schedule
Keep the original agreement in FYI, link it to the equipment finance tool and return the completed AccountKit schedule to the client’s FYI record.
Link the FYI finance contract
Complete the AccountKit schedule
Export to FYI with filing details
What it doesn’t do
FYI’s client, cabinet and category permissions still apply. Client changes do not sync directly from AccountKit to FYI; where connected, they travel through Xero Practice Manager.
Who can set up the FYI connection?
FYI’s guide lists Pro or Elite eligibility. An FYI administrator, or a user with the relevant Automations permission, creates the connection credentials in Automation > Apps > AccountKit. Enter those in AccountKit’s Integrations settings. Follow the current guide to confirm your plan and permissions.
