SharePoint integration

Connect your SharePoint document library to AccountKit. Files stay in SharePoint with their permissions intact, and each client links to its folder.

Connect your SharePoint document library to AccountKit. Files stay in SharePoint with their permissions intact, and each client links to its folder.

What the integration does

  • Keep SharePoint as your document store. Connect your existing SharePoint files to the client work in AccountKit, with underlying document permissions respected.

  • Connect the supporting record. Use the SharePoint connection when bringing client documents into your AccountKit document-management workflow.

Make SharePoint part of the client workflow

Start with a client whose documents your team knows well. Connect the document location, check the team’s access and confirm how those files support the work in AccountKit.

  1. Connect SharePoint

  2. Check the client’s document location

  3. Use the files with the client work

What it doesn’t do

Your files remain in the connected document platform. Available actions depend on your SharePoint setup and AccountKit plan; check the permissions and document features your team needs before rollout.

Does AccountKit bypass SharePoint permissions?

No. AccountKit’s document-management guide specifically explains that the connected DMS permissions still apply, including SharePoint restrictions.
