AccountKit is used by accounting firms in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and further afield. Most tools work the same way wherever your firm is. A few are built on Australian tax rules or Australian compliance software, and those are only available to Australian practices. This article lists which is which.
Tools that are only available in Australia
These tools depend on Australian tax law or ATO rates, so they aren't available to firms outside Australia.
Division 7A tool: interest and minimum yearly repayments on private company loans, using the ATO benchmark rates.
Franking account register: a record of each company client's franking credits and debits.
Fuel tax credit calculator: each client's fuel tax credit claim for their BAS.
Dashboards that are only available in Australia
The ATO lodgements dashboard, which you fill by importing ATO lodgement data yourself. It's on every plan.
The NowInfinity dashboard and the BGL dashboards, on the Professional and Practice plans.
Tools you can use wherever your firm is
Compliance tools: the amortisation scheduler, equipment finance tool, inter-entity loan tool and account reconciler (beta).
Practice tools: workflow, the correspondence register, important items register, professional development register and Knowledge Centre.
Advisory tools: the client mapping tool and the simple loan, flexible loan and extra loan repayments calculators.
Document management, and the Xero Practice Manager, Xero, email, messaging, document and e-signing integrations.

Tools to check with us if you're outside Australia
A few tools and integrations are built around Australian rules or Australian software, but their availability in other countries isn't listed here yet. They are the compounding super and retirement calculators, and the CAS 360, SimpleFund 360 and NowInfinity integrations. If your firm is outside Australia and you'd like to use any of them, email [email protected] and the team will confirm what's available for your region.
