Your 14-day free trial

How the AccountKit free trial works: what's included, why you don't need a credit card, what happens when it ends, and how to ask for more time.

You can try AccountKit free for 14 days with your own clients and your own team. This article explains what's included, what we ask for (and don't), and what happens when the trial ends. You can start your trial at my.account-kit.com/signup.

What's included

Every tool is switched on for the full 14 days, so your whole team can try it. You don't have to choose a plan first. When the trial ends, you pick the plan that covers the tools you want to keep. Our article on AccountKit plans and pricing explains what each plan includes.

If you'd like to check whether there are any limits on users or accounting connections while you trial, email [email protected] and the team will confirm them.

You don't need a credit card

We don't ask for a credit card to start the trial. We only ask for payment details when the trial ends, or sooner if you decide to move to a paid plan before then.

Getting the most from your 14 days

The trial is most useful when you try AccountKit on real work, so we suggest three steps:

  1. Start your trial and bring in the client list your firm already works from.

  2. Set AccountKit up for your firm by choosing the tools, views and workflows that match the jobs your team runs.

  3. Use it with real client work, then decide what belongs in your practice.

If you'd like a head start, the recorded AccountKit overview on our webinars page is a good place to begin. If you'd rather see it with someone from our team first, you can book a demo.

What happens when the trial ends

We'll remind you before your trial ends. To keep going, you add your payment details and choose a plan.

If you decide AccountKit isn't for you, you don't need to do anything. Your account switches off by itself, and you won't be charged. If you have questions about your firm's data after the trial, or you'd like to come back later, email [email protected] and the team will confirm what's possible.

When you move to a paid plan, onboarding with our team is part of signing up. It's a one-off fee that depends on your plan, and our article on onboarding and training explains what it covers.

Getting a longer trial

Fourteen days isn't always enough to test AccountKit on real work, especially at a busy time of year. If you need longer, email [email protected] and the team will talk it through with you.
